If I were the director of this scene, I would make Lady Macduff wear a very nice and long dress since Macduff is a noble man. Lady Macduff will dress up with a proper attire that suits her well. The murders will dress up all in white and so when the murders enter the scene, the setting will be all dark and the audiences will only see Lady Macduff with her son. So Lady Macduff and his son will also be dressed up in bright colours. For the setting of this play, it will be located in a palace with plenty of flower gardens around the house with large gates and rooms. There will also be spotlighted there when the characters are talking. The murders will be carrying daggers running around Macduff's castle.
